Pelissari implements IFRS in Sadia

    Pelissari Gestão & Tecnologia started in September an important project at Sadia, a company belonging to the group Brasil Foods, the third biggest export company in Brazil. The six-month project includes several phases, as well as the fulfillment of various norms IFRS/IAS (International Financial Reporting Standards/ International Accounting Standard).

    In order to fulfill these international accounting norms, Sadia which has counted on Pelissari for other projects, has the objective to deploy complementary functionalities in the SAP environment in order to adequate the financial statements, but still keeps them compatible with the rules of the country of each branch. "The Project scope was designed based on the previous survey carried out by Sadia, which indentified the norms that would impact SAP as well as the corresponding priorities", says Vanessa Lisboa, Pelissari's consulting director.
