ARAUCO DO BRASIL SPEEDS UP FISCAL PROCEDURES WITH PELISSARI SOFICOM SOLUTION

Product benefits are agility and security when sending information

Pelissari SOFICOM, a complementary fiscal tool for SAP solutions, guarantees the delivery of federal, state and municipal tax liability. Arauco do Brasil, Pelissari Gestão e Tecnologia's client, started using SOFICOM in January this year and already has the first positive results. "In three months we noticed the advantages of this tool, especially regarding agility and reliability of the information. The solution gives us the guarantee of truthfulness of everything that is recorded", highlights the company's TIC manager, Mário Toews.

Besides the productivity, Toews highlights the security while sending information. "Because it extracts the original data base, the information is single and consistent without replication. Thus, we have a much higher level of accuracy". The maximization of the use of standard functionalities, the inexistence of communication interfaces, the integration with new SAP solutions and the possibility of a centralized administration are also important advantages for the client. Toews also highlights the benefits of a specialized service. "We are served by specialists in these solutions who interpret the legislation and implement its requirements. That gives us much more comfort and confidence", he says.

Pelissari SOFICOM can be purchased by modules, ensuring autonomy and gradual investment to the client. The modules include the generation of electronic files that meet the requirements of the Public System of Digital Bookkeeping (SPED), of the cities accessory fiscal obligations (ISS), of the States (ICMS), of the Union (IPI/IRRF), and of asset management and related invoices (CIAP). It also allows the integration of the system with the city halls for the issuance of Electronic Service Invoices (NFS-e).

Besides Arauco, other Pelissari's clients such as Randon, Cargolift, DSR, Marisol, Kavo and Rodolatina also use this solution. This year, Pelissari SOFICOM was the theme of a lecture in SAP Forum in São Paulo, an event that gathered representatives of big companies that use SAP and executives from the main consulting companies in the country. It has also been discussed in meetings promoted by Pelissari in the 3 capitals of the south of the country. The first Meeting Pelissari SOFICOM took place in Curitiba in July.
